Obituary of Patricia Carey
Patricia Carey, age 82, of Roseville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Broad Acres. She was born on June 16, 1935 in Lawrenceville, PA, a daughter of Orlando and Leah (Strait) Simpson. Patricia was the wife of the late Kenneth Carey. She was employed at Swayze Box Manufacturing. Patricia enjoyed being a caregiver for her neighbor, baking, cooking and caring for her family. She was a member of the Roseville UM Church.
Patricia is survived by 3 sons, Kenneth Carey of Canton, PA, William (Jackie) Carey of Galeton, PA, Alan (Sue) Carey of Lawrenceville, PA; 2 daughters, Donna (Craig) Deitrich of Covington, PA, Connie (Curtis) Moore of Mainesburg, PA; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Dennis (Julie) Simpson of NY, Orlando "Lanny" Simpson of NY; 3 sisters, Margaret "Margie" (Brian) McGee of Wellsboro, PA, Martha (Elvin) Jackson of Gillett, PA, Bonnie (Gary) Brown Wellsboro, PA. She was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and Fred Clark.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A service will follow at 3:00 PM with Pastor Timothy Parker officiating.
