Obituary of Kurt P. Christofferson

Kurt P. Christofferson, age 64, of Mainesburg, PA, died Friday, November 17, 2017 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport, PA. Kurt was born February 10, 1953 in Cortland, NY, a son of Virgil and Mildred (Shockey) Christofferson. He was married to Ann (DeMond) Christofferson. Kurt was a former pastor at the Faith Baptist Church in Canton, PA and a dairy farmer. He enjoyed training and showing Paso Fino horses. Kurt is survived by his wife, Ann; a daughter and son-in-law, Aleah and Doug Babcock of Sayre, PA; a brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Diana Christofferson of Apex, NC; mother-in-law, Helen Major of Shamokin, PA; 2 grandchildren, Adam and Teddy Babcock. He was predeceased by a sister, Lana VanNest in 2016. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the West Groton Cemetery, Groton, NY. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S.
