Obituary of Clifton T. Griffin
Clifton T. Griffin, age 85, of Mansfield, PA, passed away at his residence on Thursday, October 19, 2017. He was born June 28, 1932 in Roseville, PA, a son of Cecil and Sarah (Smith) Griffin. Clifton was the husband of Phyllis E. Griffin who passed away September 8th, 2017. He was employed at Mansfield University as supervisor of the buildings and grounds for 35 years. Clifton enjoyed playing the guitar, camping, fishing, hiking, and walking in the woods.
Clifton is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Paula of Horseheads, NY, Todd and Jennifer of Greene, NY, and Ryan Griffin of Mansfield, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Nikki and John Cole of Corning, NY; 5 grandchildren, Sarah (T.J. Naylor), Rebecka, Christopher, Kylie, and Liam Griffin; 2 great grandchildren, Levi and Lola Jo Naylor. Besides his wife, Phyllis, he was predeceased by a sister, Mable Enderle.
