Obituary of Joseph Alampi
Joseph D. Alampi, age 76, of Middlebury Center, PA, passed away on October 1, 2017 at his home. He was born on January 29, 1941 in Philadelphia, a son of Joseph P. and Phyllis (Roccia) Alampi. Joseph was the husband of Catherine (McBride) Alampi. He was employed by IUEC Local 5 in Philadelphia for 25 years, as an elevator constructor mostly with Otis Elevator in Philadelphia. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose in Wellsboro and the Arnot Sportsman Club. Joseph enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine; a son, Adam (Amy) Willey of Reading, PA; 4 daughter, Judith (Alex) Velazquez of DE, Linda (Kent) Johnsen of CA, Dana Brady of MD, Mary (John) Robbins of Middlebury Ctr.; son- in- law, James Brady; 8 grandchildren; a great granddaughter; a sister, Rosemary Jenkins of DE. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Joseph A. Alampi on July 29, 2008.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 1PM at the Wellsboro Moose, 36 Old Tioga St., Wellsboro, PA 16901.
