Obituary of Dawn Marie Trout
On Monday, September 11, 2017, Dawn "Pips" Marie Trout, age 54, of Mansfield, PA, mounted up with wings as eagles; she shall run and not be weary; and she shall walk and not be faint. (ref. Isaiah 40:31). Dawn was born on November 16, 1962 in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of Stephen and Barbara (Staufenberg) Trout, Sr. Dawn was formerly employed by First Citizens Community Bank in the Operations Center. Dawn played little league softball. She ran cross country at the State level and played tennis for Mansfield High School. Later in life she competed in wheelchair tennis and placed 2nd in the Nation. Dawn was an avid sports fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and the Eagles. She loved her nieces and nephews, her animals, music, and going to sporting events and concerts.
Dawn is survived by her mother, Barbara (Glenn) Slaymaker; a brother, Stephen (Susan) Trout, Jr. of San Diego CA; three sisters, Deborah (Charles) Murphy of Mansfield, PA, Suzanne (Frank) Ameigh of Mansfield, PA, Rebekah (David) Redell of Pittsburgh, PA; nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; feline companions, Sigourney, Jesse, Lucy, and a canine companion, Max. She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen A. Trout, Sr. in 2012; her maternal Grandmother (Gram), Emma Robinson in 2016.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Paul Terre-Blanche officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
