Obituary of Phyllis E. Griffin
Phyllis E. Griffin, age 82, of Mansfield, PA, died Friday, September 8, 2017 at Broad Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA. She was born March 22, 1935 in Morris Run, PA, a daughter of Otto S. and Ellen (Nybeck) Lindquist. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Clifton T. Griffin. She was employed at Mansfield University as Manager of the College Bookstore before she retired. Phyllis enjoyed the Mansfield High School Boys Basketball games, playing bingo, laughing with her family.
In addition to her husband, Clifton, she is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law: Craig (Paula) Griffin of Horseheads, NY, Todd (Jennifer) Griffin of Greene, NY, Ryan Griffin of Mansfield, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Nikki (John) Cole of Corning, NY; 5 grandchildren: Sarah (T.J.) Naylor, Rebecka, Christopher, Kylie, Liam Griffin; 2 great grandchildren: Levi and Lola Jo Naylor. Phyllis was predeceased by brothers; Alfred, Ray, Carl, Conrad and Robert Lindquist, and sisters, Ina Davies and Irene Campbell.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
