Obituary of Myra M. Tennant

Myra Tennant, age 82, of Elkland, PA, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Broad Acres Nursing Home in Wellsboro. She was born on September 15, 1934 in Elkland, a daughter of George and Mae Hazlett. She was the wife of the John LeRoy Tennant who died in 1995. Myra loved animals.

Myra is survived by 7 nephews,  Gary Hazlett, Marty Hazlett, Mark Hazlett, Steve Hazlett, Corrie Rupar, Bruce Rupar, Billy Burke; 6 nieces, Judy Abel, Linda Gardner, Tina Tomlinson, Cindy Warfle, Julie Hazlett, Kathy Burke; many grand-nephews and grand-nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; 7 brothers, Ralph, Don, Royce, Cyril, Maynard, Winston, Richard Y. Hazlett; a sister, Georgianna Hazlett.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 6PM to 8pm at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A service will follow at 8PM.
