Obituary of Gary Lee Jenkins

Gary Lee Jenkins, age 62, a life resident of Mansfield, PA, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Troy Community Hospital, Troy, PA. He was born July 10, 1954 in Blossburg, PA, the only son of Stuart C. and Lorraine (Rought) Jenkins. Gary was the devoted husband of Pamela (Dyer) Jenkins. He was a member and Elder of the Grace Community Church and together with his wife founded Recovery Revolution. Gary enjoyed watching NCIS and Criminal Minds, 4 wheeling, snowmobiling, landscaping, coaching baseball, and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He liked picking blueberries on his 50 – 3rd generation blueberry bushes and spending time with his canine friends, Shelby, Ella, Chloe; and feline friends, Chance, Riley and Bailey. Gary is survived by his loving wife, Pamela; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Janet Smith, Billy and Heather Smith, both of Bloomville, NY, Corey and Jenna Jenkins of Mansfield, PA; six grandchildren, Paige and Skye Jenkins, William, Evan, Emma and Anna Smith, and his best friend of 59 years, Phil Adams of Mansfield, PA. He was predeceased by a son, Cody Allen Jenkins September 14, 2013. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Covington Baptist Church, Covington, PA.
