Obituary of Amber L. Wood
Amber L. Wood, age 28, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 11, 2017. She was born May 4, 1989 in Doylestown, PA, a daughter of Leigh and Suzanne (Kauffman) Frye. Amber was the wife of Jeffrey Wood, and was employed as a waitress. She loved to cook, bake riding horses, and gardening with the girls.
Amber is survived by her parents; her husband, Jeffrey; 2 daughters, Peyton Slaymaker and Kameron Wood both of Mansfield, PA; a brother, Justin (Sabrina) Frye of Wellsboro, PA; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Sallie Kauffman of Lebanon, PA; several aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents; and a cousin, Beverlee Krais.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, June 17, at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church, 108 N. Williamson Rd, Blossburg, PA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Peyton's and Kameron's education fund at Northwest Savings Bank, 50 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA 16933.
