I did not know you, but I do know that your son has hurt so deeply for you over this last year. Though we are not on good terms, I hurt for him in his time of loss and all that he is going through. There is no real way for me to make amends with him, but I do wish to offer my condolences, deepest sympathies, and best wishes to him in this very difficult time.
