Obituary of Darleen Rathbun

Darleen Rathbun, age 89, of Tioga, PA, died Friday, March 31, 2017 at Broad Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA. She was born January 17, 1928 in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Rex and Olive (King) Bennett. She was the widow of Ralph B. Rathbun who passed away in 2009. Darleen retired from Corning Glass Works; was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Tioga; a member of the Rebecca's, DAR, enjoyed reading and crocheting. Darlene is survived by a son, Rex Lee Rathbun of Tioga, PA; a daughter, Kathryn "Kay" Hassan of Gouldsboro, PA; 4 grandchildren, Autum Dean, Shae Rathbun, Cory Rathbun and Cody Tombs; 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph, and a daughter, Jacqueline "Jackie" Casey. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Main St., Tioga, PA with Pastor Harry Colegrove officiating.
