Obituary of Courtney Gail Hughes

Courtney Gail Hughes, age 26, of Tioga, PA, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, March 23, 2017. She was born June 13, 1990 in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Tammy (Hopper) and Brian Hughes. Courtney enjoyed singing, drawing, writing music and poems, performing music with her dad, and spending time with her canine buddy, "Tank". Courtney is survived by her soul mate, Shane Marchand of Tioga; parents, Brian Hughes of Lockwood, NY and Tammy Hughes of Tioga; paternal grandparents, Dale and Gail Hughes of Tioga; maternal grandmother, Judy Baker of Tioga; 2 brothers, Steven (Alfred Lance) Dexter of Wilmington, DE, Tyler (Molly) Wilson of Addison, NY; 2 sisters, Ashley Dexter of Nelson, PA, Paige (Robby Compton) Hughes of Lockwood, NY; aunts and uncles, Brenda Hughes Flynn of Tioga, Yvonne Newcomb of Tioga, Misty (John) Vetter of Chesterfield, VA, April (Steve) Greenwalt of Tioga; a niece, Brynlee Hughes; a nephew, Jayden Bovee; several cousins; a sister friend, Emma Austin of Palm Coast, FL.
