Obituary of Ralph Carew

Ralph Sonny Carew, age 77, of Morris Run, PA, died on Friday, June 22, 2007 at his great nieces home, Shanna Garverick, in Covington, PA. Ralph was born on March 19, 1930 in Fall Brook, PA, a son of Fred and Ruby (Carey) Carew. Ralph was baptized in St. Josephs Catholic Church in Morris Run, PA. He enjoyed assisting with mail delivery, fishing and was often referred to as the Mayor of Morris Run. Ralph is survived by his niece and nephew, Joseph and Jeanette Witucki with whom he resided; a special great niece who assisted in his care giving, Shanna Garverick of Covington, PA; a brother, Fred Carew of Canton, PA, and a sister, Phyllis Pequignot of Canton, PA. He was predeceased by his parents, and a sister, Janet Jenkins in 2006. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, June 25, 2007 from 6 to 7 PM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 7 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
