Obituary of Quillmer C. Christman

Quillmer "Sonny" C. Christman, age 72, of Mansfield, PA, died Friday, March 10, 2017 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. He was born December 19, 1944 in Perkiomenville, PA, a son of Quillmer and Katie (Nace) Christman. Sonny worked at Manser Dining Hall at Mansfield University until he retired (LOL). He was a veteran having served in the Army, enjoyed fishing and playing cards. Sonny is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy (Christina) Christman of Wellsboro, PA; Owen (Kelly) Christman of Lynchburg, VA; a daughter, Rose Foreman of Wellsboro, PA; 5 brothers and sisters-in-law, Claude (Marlene) of Blossburg, PA, Duane (Nancy) of Mainesburg, PA, Ronnie (Anita) of Covington, PA, Jimmy (Jackie) of Roseville, PA, and Melvin of Red Hill, PA; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Patsy (Mark) Santora of Boyertown, PA, Mary Young of Jersey Shore, PA; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. Sonny was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Katherine "Tootsie" Reers. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
