Obituary of Frank J. Zdrojewski
Frank J. Zdrojewski, age 92, of Tioga, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 at the Gatehouse in Williamsport, PA. He was born on December 27, 1924 in Philadelphia. He was the husband of the late Michaelina A. (Peldunas) Zdrojewski who died in 2004. Frank was an Army veteran having served in World War II. He was employed by PMTA/ILA, Local 1291 in Philadelphia. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 06757 in Mansfield, PA, the loyal order of the Elkland Moose Lodge #746, Elkland, PA, and Holy Child Church in Mansfield, PA. He enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, playing pool, and firearms.
He is survived by a daughter Joan (Paul) Geraci of Philadelphia; two grandsons, Frankie (Olga) Zdrojewski of Philadelphia, PA, Paul Geraci of Philadelphia, PA; a granddaughter, Nicole (Jeffery) Perry of Tioga, PA; three great grandchildren, Isaac Zdrojewski, Calen Mills, and Kye Perry; a brother, Peter (Francine) Strikey of Huntington Valley, PA; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Strikey; two nieces, Dotsie Strikey and Denise Nazian. He was preceded in death by his wife, Michaelina, his son Francis in 2016, a brother, Joe Strikey, and two nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Child Catholic Church, 237 S.
