Obituary of Anna Dorothy Kollar
Anna Dorothy Kollar, age 95, of Mansfield, PA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior surrounded by her loving family at her home. She was the daughter of Andrew and Mary Horvath. Anna was predeceased by her husband, Francis James Kollar on September 19, 1998. She retired as head cook for the Logan Elementary School in Bethel Park, PA. Anna was a member of St. Joan of Arc in Library, PA, enjoyed playing bingo, traveling, and spending time at the senior center where she and her sister, Betty, were known as "the sisters". Her family was #1 in her life.
Anna is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Francis J. and Mary Beth Kollar of Mansfield, PA; a daughter-in-law, Marilou Kollar of Virginia Beach, VA; 5 grandchildren, Katherine Kollar-Valovage, Carolyn Kollar, Chelsea Troutman, Jamie Ducharne and Brian Kollar; 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, James Kollar on March 14, 2014.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at David Henney Funeral Home, 6364 Library Road, South Park, PA with a Vigil Service at 8:00 P.M. a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joan of Arc, Library, PA with Father Pribonic as celebrant. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Cemetery, Pleasant Hills, PA. Local arrangements by Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
