Obituary of Michael J. Gablein
Michael J. Gablein, age 72, of Arnot, died Monday, February 20, 2017 at the Samaritan House in Wellsboro. He was born April 30, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of Walter and Catherine (Clancy) Gablein. He was the husband of Donna (Losinger) Gablein. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Ward Manufacturing. Michael enjoyed taking care of his yard.
In addition to his wife, Donna, he is survived by two step-daughters, Lauri (Benjamin) Jones, of Blossburg, PA, Debra (Donald) Shawver of McClure, PA; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Walter Jr., (Ann), Thomas (Deb) Gablein all of Philadelphia, PA; three sisters, Patricia (Doug) Britt of Choctaw, OK, Rose Jacobs of Philadelphia, PA, Grace (Joe) Luscko of Maple Shade, NJ; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 4, 2017 from 11AM – 2PM at the Morris Run Reception Hall, Matreski St., Morris Run, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Samaritan House, 3 Morgan Terrace, Wellsboro, PA. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc, 637 S.
