Obituary of Dorothy L. Chapel
Dorothy L. Chapel, age 91, formerly of Tioga Junction, PA, died Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. She was born May 18, 1925 in Osceola, PA, a daughter of Dewey and Anna Belle (Seymour) Cole. Dorothy was the wife of the late John C. Chapel, who passed away April 7, 1978. Dorothy hauled milk in the 50's and 60's.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Carl (Linda) Chapel, John R. Chapel, Ron (Debb) Chapel all of Tioga, and Ruth (Tim) Johnston of Mansfield; grandchildren, Heather (Troy) Burkholder, Chris (Tiffany) Chapel, Jason (Tanya) Chapel, Nick (Nicole) Chapel, Tim J. (Judy) Johnston; 12 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Bernard (Hazel) and Richard Cole, both of Mainesburg. She was predeceased by 4 brothers, Lewis, Arthur, Arnold and Donald Cole.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 3:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel And Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel with Pastor Debbie Button officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dorothy's memory to the Mansfield Hose Co. Auxiliary, 381 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Burial will be in Tioga County Memorial Gardens, Mansfield, PA. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
