Obituary of Mae L. Brantley
Mae L. Brantley, age 75, of Mansfield, PA, died Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at her home. She was born January 20, 1941 in Jamestown, NY, a daughter of Evan J. and Mertha (Hale) Zenner. Mae was the wife of the late Perry Brantley who died in 2000. She was the head living historian for Colonial Williamsburg.
Mae is survived by 2 sons, Matthew Wetzel of Wellsboro, PA, Marc Wetzel of Bailey, NY; a daughter, Denise J. Harris; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Frank and Gail.
In keeping with Mae's wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey, NC. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA is assisting the family. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
