Obituary of James Kenneth Schucker
Long time Columbia Township dairy farmer, James K. "Sam" Schucker, passed away tragically as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Saturday, December 10, 2016. Sam was born June 20, 1928 in Columbia Twp., PA, a son of Mark and Mary (Neubauer) Schucker. He was predeceased by his wife, Donna (Warner) Schucker, on December 7, 2003. Sam was a member of the Hillside Rod & Gun Club, the Ponderosa Club, the Wheel Inn, and the Loyal Order of the Moose in Canton, PA. He enjoyed wood working, snowmobiling, hunting, gardening, and playing cards.
Sam is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law, M. Kevin and Lisa Schucker, Douglas and Sharon Schucker, R. Kirk Schucker, all of Sylvania, PA; a brother, Robert E. Schucker of Sylvania, PA; a sister, Shirley S. Brion of Troy, PA; a sister-in-law, Alice Schucker; 10 grandchildren, Jamie Banks, Nicole Curtis, Brock Schucker, Jacob (fiance', Maddy Kutz), Clayton, Adam, Kara, Kyle, Kody and Kory Schucker; 1 great grandson, Bentley Curtis. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by brothers, Mark Schucker, Jr., Charles Schucker; a sister, Mariam Turner; two brothers-in-law, Ron Brion, Keith Turner; two sisters-in-law, Ina Schucker and Annette Schucker Pearsall.
