Obituary of Ricky Hersh

Ricky A. Hersh, age 68, of Tioga, PA, died on Wednesday, November 30, 2016. He was born on December 25, 1947 in Allentown, PA, the son of Robert and Edna Hersh. He was the husband of Elaine (Stanton) Hersh. Prior to his retirement he was an officer at the SPCA. Ricky was member of the Tabernacle Baptist in Tioga and the Elkland American Legio n. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and cooking. He is survived by a his wife, Elaine; a son, Ricky Hersh, Jr. of Tioga, PA ; a brother, Robert (Barbara) Hersh of Kansas City, KS; a sister, Ruth (Dick) Darvis of Boston, MA. He was predeceased by his parents. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 11 AM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, 9 Eden St., Tioga, PA, with Pastor Steven Neff and Pastor Don Rice officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Buckheit Funeral Chapel to assist with expenses. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc, 637 S.
