Obituary of Stephen W. Packard
Stephen W. Packard, age 73, of Lawrenceville, PA, died Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the Bath VA Medical Center, Bath, NY. He was born October 26, 1943 in Sayre, PA, a son of Alfred "Wayne" and Rose (Fitzwater) Packard. Stephen was married to Donna (Kilbourne) Packard and would have celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on January 1st. He was a retired foreman for Lane Road Construction. Stephen was a member of the Tioga American Legion, Corning VFW, Tioga Masonic Lodge, enjoyed hunting, reading, and playing solitaire. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Donna; a son, Stephen Packard of Upper Marlboro, MD; a daughter, Samantha Packard of Phoenixville, PA; a brother, Eric (Donna) Packard of Mansfield, PA; mother-in-law, Ollie Jane Kilbourne of Lawrenceville, PA; sister-in-law, Dorrene Preston of Shamong, NJ; 2 grandchildren, Jarret and Caitlin; a special niece, Rhonda Edgell; nephew, Tim Parker. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Karen Sabin.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 6 Broad St., Tioga, PA with Pastor Debbie Button officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bath VA Hospital, 76 Veterans Ave., Bath, NY 14810. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S.
