Obituary of Philip M. Weaver
Philip Michael Weaver, 35, of Wellsboro, passed away on October 21, 2016. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market Street, Muncy, PA, with Rev. Arlene P. Beechert, Pastor officiating. A visitation and luncheon will immediately follow the service in the church Fellowship Hall.
Philip was born in Wellsboro, PA to Bruce and Jan Mowry Weaver on April 6, 1981. He graduated from Cowanesque Valley HS in 1999 where he was active in baseball, basketball, golf, and Ham Radio. He was also a member of the National Honor Society and the Lettermen's club. He attended Mansfield University.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother, Bradley (Stacey) Weaver of Myrtle Beach, SC; a sister, Natalie (Michael) McCullen of Muncy, nieces and nephews, Alana, Rory, and Ava McCullen of Muncy, Jacob Weaver of Myrtle Beach, SC, his maternal grandmother, Jill Mowry of Cabot, PA, aunts and uncles, Robert and Sara Hollobaugh of Butler, PA, Mart and Rosie Weaver of Glenview, IL, Trinda Weaver of Evanston IL, several cousins, and special friend, Heidy Drawdy of Wellsboro.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Muncy FUMC Memorial Garden" in care of the church. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA is assisting the family with arrangements. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
