Obituary of Andrew Richard Luke
Andrew "Andy" Richard Luke, Jr. age 80, of Mansfield, PA, died Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. He was born November 26, 1935 in Bloss Twp., a son of Andrew James and Vera Mary (Harguiski) Luke. Andy was the husband of the late Mary Etta Luke who passed away September 23, 2010. He was a member of the Moose, the Arnot Sportsmen's Club, and the Hillside Rod & Gun Club. Andy retired from Ward Foundry after 23 years of service. He owned and operated a trucking business.
Andy is survived by a son, Andrew Luke, and a daughter, Freida Luke, both of Canada; a sister-in-law, Pauline Harding of Covington, PA; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Loren and Patti Kendrick of Mansfield, PA; his feline friend, Rocketta. Andy was predeceased by his wife, and four sisters.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 8, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Whitneyville Cemetery, Charleston Twp.
