Obituary of Dakota Crist MacCain
Dakota Crist MacCain, age 21, of Blossburg, PA died Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Williamsport Hospital. He was born September 23, 1994 in Wellsboro, PA. Dakota worked for Scott House Logging and Chipping in Mansfield, PA as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Morris Run American Legion; the Wolf Pack; enjoyed fishing and living life to the fullest. Dakota liked spending time with family, friends and his nieces and nephews.
Dakota is survived by his parents, Rhonda and David Myers, Jr. of Blossburg; and Carl Nybeck; a brother, Jake Myers of Blossburg, PA; sisters, Tiffany Myers of Wellsboro, PA, Sapphire (Tom) Matczak of Blossburg, Jayd Myers of Blossburg, Lauren, Kristen and Erin Nybeck, all of New Port, PA; grandparents, Donald MacCain of Mayhill, NM, David Sr. and Sharon Myers of Roaring Branch, PA; Vern Nybeck of Morris Run, PA and Nancy Nybeck of Covington, PA; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Lizabeth Naylor.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel with Pastor Harry Colegrove officiating.
