Obituary of Donald E. Welch
Donald E. Welch, age 80, of Covington, PA, died Thursday, June 9, 2016 at The Green Home, Wellsboro, PA. He was born January 13, 1936 in Little Marsh, PA, a son of Loren O. and Thelma (Douglas) Welch. Donald was married to Betty (Harvey) Welch. He was a retired automotive painter for Elm Chevrolet. Donald was a member of the Community of Grace Fellowship, enjoyed fishing, hunting, music and musical instruments, reading, and fixing everything.
Donald is survived by his wife, Betty; 2 sons, Donald of Lawrenceville, PA and Lloyd of Titusville, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Lois (Thomas) Dewar of East Petersburg, PA; grandchildren, Ben (Carson) Welch, Hailey Welch, Ryan (Alicia) Welch, Dixie (Michael) Williams, Kayla Dewar; great grandchildren, Tank and Ember Welch, Melissa and Melanie Welch, Jasmine and Anthony Williams; brothers and a sister-in-law. Eugene Welch of West Pittston, PA, Robert (Diane) Wandell of Mansfield, PA, and Sam Wandell of Morris, PA; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Michael Welch, and a brother, Jim Wandell.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, June 13, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 P.M. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
