Obituary of Robert D. Potter
Robert Potter, age 59, of Millerton, PA, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at Corning Center, Corning, NY. He was born November 19, 1956 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of Harold and Barbara "Sophie" (Freas) Potter. Robert married Helen (Corwin) Potter on October 16, 1993. He was the President of Teamsters Local 529, Elmira, NY, a member of DFA in Middlebury, PA, and the N.R.A. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Robert is survived by his wife, Helen; a son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Kim Potter of Campbell, NY; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie (Potter) and Jeffrey Becker of Corning, NY, Raelyn (Corwin) and James Mosher of NC; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Dale and Dee Dee Potter of Harrison Valley, PA, Richard and Barb Potter of Elkland, PA, Frank and Bonnie Potter of Campbell, NY; a sister, Barb Potter of Portland, OR; 5 grandchildren, Keirstyn, Jordan, Aurorah, Isadorah and Caleb; father-in-law, Robert (Lois) Corwin of Wellsboro, PA; mother-in-law, Shirley (Kenneth) Hale of Tullahoma, TN; several nieces and nephews; 5 brothers-in-law; many close friends.
