Obituary of Mary Jane Kilkenny
The spirit of Mary Jane Coolidge Kilkenny was set free on April 26, 2016 to experience another transition through eternal time. She was born February 19, 1934 in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of Fred and Effie (Kriner) Schrader. Mary was the wife of Gustave Kilkenny. Mary was a nurse, and worked for the Wellsboro Gazette as an advertising agent. She was an owner of the Glamour n' Gilitz Internet Business; enjoyed crafts, sewing, quilting, philosophy, science and nature.
Mary is survived by her husband, Gustave; 3 sons, Joel (Tina) Coolidge of Wellsboro, PA, Jason Coolidge of Wellsboro, PA, John (David Burgoyne) Coolidge of Los Angeles, CA; a step-son, Christopher (Diana Cote) Kilkenny of E. Hartford, CT; 2 daughters, Pamela (William) Reese of Wellsboro, PA, Penny (Donald) Parker of Wellsboro, PA; a step daughter, Susan Hunt of Ashland, KY; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her first husband, Donald Coolidge; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Shumway Hill Cemetery, Charleston Twp., Wellsboro, PA with Rev. Eugene Charsky officiating. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to The Green Free Library, 134 Main St., Wellsboro, PA or Compassion and Choices, P.O. Box 101810, Denver, CO, 80250.
