Obituary of Edith M. Roupp

Edith Roupp, of Tioga, PA, age 90, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at her home. She was born January 5, 1926 in Green, NY, a daughter of Luther B. and Edith M. (Wilson) Kirkendall. Edith was married to the late Benner "Ozzie" Roupp. She worked as a waitress at Arnot Sportsman's Club before she retired and was a truck driver for 40 years. Edith enjoyed sewing, reading and spending time with her family. Edith is survived by 2 sons, Bernie Roupp of Tioga, PA, Wayne (Lori) Roupp of Mansfield, PA; 2 daughters, Debra (Dennis) Stueve of Hemet, CA, Diane Roupp of Wellsboro, PA; a brother, Delmar W. (Lois) Kirkendall of Arnot, P A; a half-sister, Rose Frost of Towanda, PA; 14 grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Grover-Jeffries, 3 sons, Gary, Raymond O. and Thomas Roupp; a brother, Luther Jr.; 2 sisters, Helen Isabell Cunningham and Caroline Pifer. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Burial will be in Salem-St. Paul Cemetery, Liberty Twp., PA. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S.
