Obituary of Mareka Dawn Detrick
Mareka Dawn (Gearhart) Detrick, 37, of Wilkes-Barre, PA (formerly of East Stroudsburg, PA) died Wednesday, February 3, 2016 unexpectedly at her home. She was born in Easton, PA, October 30, 1978 to Elaine (Williamson) Gearhart and Quin Gearhart, Jr.
She is survived by her parents, Elaine (Thomas) Turek and Quin (Tammy) Gearhart, Jr.; a brother, Joel E. Anderson of ND; sisters, Danielle Gearhart and Vanessa Merchant, both of Bangor, PA. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Donald and Margaret Williamson, Sr., and paternal grandparents, Quin and Janet Gearhart, Sr.
A graveside service at St. John's Cemetery, Bangor, PA will be held at the convenience of the family. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA is assisting the family. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
