Obituary of Clifford A. Yeager

Clifford A. Yeager, age 89, of Arnot, PA, died Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 23, 1926 in Arnot, PA, a son of William and Hulda Mary (Anderson) Yeager. Clifford was the husband of Pauline (Wilson) Yeager who died July 3, 2005. He worked for Jones and Brague Mining and retired from GTE Sylvania in NH. Clifford was a member of the Gethsemane Lutheran Church and served with the Marines in WWII. Clifford is survived by 4 sons and daughters-in-law, Terry Persun of Arnot, PA, Daryl (Sue) Mundy of NH, Jerry (Edna) Persun of TN, Al Persun of NC; a daughter and son-in-law, Dawn (Mark) Vetter of Arnot, PA; a granddaughter, Nicole Kshir, plus 11 grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by 3 sisters, Evelyn Kapral, Doris and Gladys, and a brother, Dave. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
