Obituary of David Webster Bouton

David Webster Bouton, age 79, of Davenport, NY, died Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. He was born June 3, 1936 in Oxford, NY, a son of Rev. Leon and Grace (Fish) Bouton. David was a retired United Methodist Church Pastor and a lifetime lepidoperist, lecturer, naturalist and world traveler. David is survived by his loving lifetime companion of 25 years, Judith Besanceney of Osceola, PA, and her children, Eric Pletter of Oneonta, NY; Jennifer (Kevin) Mayginnes of Schaumburg, IL; Melissa (Yaakov) Weglein of Israel, Dani (Katy) Pletter of San Francisco, CA; 14 grandchildren; a daughter, Rev. Barbara (Fred) Snyder of Beech Lake, PA; a son, Webster Lee Bouton of Norwood, NJ; 2 grandchildren, Rachel and Diana Bouton. He was predeceased by a brother, Rev. William Bouton, and a sister, Mary Wilson. Private services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Oneonta, NY.
