Obituary of Joseph A. Dinan

Joseph A. Dinan, age 81, of Mansfield, PA, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 9, 1934 in Queens, NY, a son of William J. and Margaret (McAuliffe) Dinan. Joseph was a Police Officer and Corrections Officer for the city of New York. He was married to the late Patricia E. (Grinnell) Dinan who passed away February 2, 2010. Joseph was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Korean War. Joseph is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph W. and Jennifer Dinan of Mansfield, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia A. and Michael Dolan of Horseheads, NY; 7 grandchildren, Katherine (Guy) Amisano, Caroline, Abigail and William Dolan, Cynthia, Emilia and Margaret Dinan; 1 great grandson, Guy Amisano. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by 2 brothers, William and Thomas Dinan. In keeping with Joseph's wishes, there will be no services.
