Obituary of Agnes C. Stowell

Agnes Stowell, age 63, of Troy, PA, died Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Troy Community Hospital, Troy, PA. She was born April 15, 1952 in Blossburg, PA, a daughter of Addison and Etta (McNeal) Porter. Agnes enjoyed watching Gun Smoke and westerns on TV, playing Yahtzee and Aggravation. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth L. Stowell, Sr. on April 20, 2015 and would have celebrated 45 years of marriage on June 20th, 2015. Agnes is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth, Jr. and Jennifer Stowell of Columbia Cross Roads, PA; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Angie Lewis of Towanda, PA, Darlene and Timothy Ayers of Troy, PA, Peggy and Chris Selfridge of Canton, PA; 10 grandchildren, Travis, Cortney, Josh, Jake, Kerstin, Shaylee, Nathan, Alexis, Jayden and Cameron; 2 great grandchildren, Bentley and Tatum; 4 brothers and a sister-in-law, Dolson Porter of NC, Gary, Randy (Donna) and Tom all of Canton, PA; 4 sisters, Rose Jaquith of Troy, PA, Pauline (Simeon) Jackson of Canton, PA, Ruth Machemer of Troy, PA; Mary (Joe) Walburn of Troy, PA; mother-in-law, Shirley Seney of TN. Agnes was predeceased by her husband; brothers, Charles Porter, Willis "Butch" Porter, Addison Dean Porter; a sister, Mabel Roupp; infant brother, Michael Porter; granddaughter, Shashona.
