Obituary of Richard Jackson
N. Richard "Dick" Jackson, age 83, of Lawrenceville, PA, died Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. He was born November 13, 1932 in Kirkwood, PA, a son of Levin and Louisa (Whiteside) Jackson. Dick was the husband of Kay Jackson. He was a self-employed crop sprayer, mushroom grower, and the last 20 years an owner operator. He was a member of the Union Presbyterian Church in Kirkwood, PA; the Masonic Lodge of Oxford, PA; Lancaster Lodge of Perfection; Harrisbury Consistery, and the Slumbering Groudhog Lodge of Quarryville.
Dick is survived by his wife, Kay; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Judy Jackson of Drumore, PA, Rick and Kim Jackson of Ephrata, PA; 3 sisters, Hazel, Mildred, Bettie; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Sears, Angela Jackson, Abbie Kessler, Gary Jackson, Jr. and Ricky Jackson, Jr; 4 great grandchildren; Ryan, Hailey, Madison and Carly. He was predeceased by 7 brothers and sisters.
In keeping with Dick's wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be in Little Britain Presbyterian Church Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA is assisting the family. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
