Obituary of Morris Morgan
Morris "Mo" Fred Morgan, age 80, of Mansfield, PA passed away at Robert Packer Hospital on Thursday, November, 12, 2015. He was born on April, 8, 1935 in Wheelerville, PA, son of Lester Harold Morgan and Mary (Bohart) Morgan. Morris was married to DeAnna (Husted) Morgan. Prior to his retirement he worked as a brick mason. In his free time, Morris was a member of the Mansfield Friendship Lodge, Mansfield PA, the Corey Creek Golf Course in Mansfield, PA, and Loyal Order of the Moose of Wellsboro, PA. He also enjoyed being outdoors, loved playing baseball, bowling, hunting, golfing, and watching local wildlife.
Morris is survived by his wife DeAnna; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael Morris Morgan, of Turlock, CA, and David Lynn and Cindi Morgan, of Charlottesville, VA; daughter and son-in-law Julie and Greg Yoder, of Syracuse, NY; 5 siblings, Ronald, Richard, Gertrude, Geraldine, and Marjorie; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and 2 canine buddies Buster and Bud. He was predeceased by his brothers Harold and Harmon.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel with Pastor David Bowman officiating.
