Obituary of Janice E. Estep
Janice E. Estep, age 86, of Troy, PA, died Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Bradford County Manor, Troy, PA. She was born August 5, 1929 in Troy, PA, a daughter of Burton and Marguerite (Dunbar) Hager. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald E. Estep, on March 8, 2012. Janice was an active member of the Sylvania Presbyterian Church for over 60 years, especially in the music department. She also served as church Treasurer, taught Sunday school and was a member of the Ladies Aide. She also worked as a secretary at P.S. King Hardware in Troy, part-time as secretary for Sylvania Boro, Sec.-Treas. for Sylvania Cable Co. and Gustin's Jewelry Store. She always felt her greatest accomplishments were being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Janice is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-law, James B. (Robin) of Troy, Jeffrey E. (Jeannie) of Granville, PA, Joseph F. (Sherry) of Troy, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce Anne (James) Segar of Watkins Glen, NY; a sister, Anne Deemy of Spring Hill, TN; sister-in-law, Jeannine Beardslee of Greenbrier, TN; 7 grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Bill Bardo officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sylvania Presbyterian Church, P. O.
