Obituary of Mary M. Keeney
Mary M. Keeney, age 90, of Tucson, AZ, formerly of Tioga, PA, died in Tucson Friday, September 4, 2015. She was born February 20, 1925 in Muncy, PA, a daughter of Grover Cleveland and Mazie G. (Evarts) Heilman. She was predeceased by her first husband, Bob Franks, and her second husband, James Keeney. She was employed at Corning Glass in Corning, NY. Mary was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mary is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Walter and Tamra Keeney of Tucson, AZ; three daughters and a son-in-law, Cynthia (Franks) Shutter of Tioga, PA, Jeanne (Franks) Hoffman of Bridgeton, NJ, and Mary Beth (Keeney) and Timothy Good of Corning, NY; a son-in-law, Ansel Keeney of Beaver Dams, NY; a sister-in-law, Rose Heilman of Williamsport, PA; 30+ grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two children, Douglas Franks and Kathy Keeney. In addition to her husbands, she was predeceased by sisters and brother-in-laws, Vivian and Maynard Mosher of Lawrenceville, PA, and Loreena and Larry Copp of Covington, PA, and a brother, Donald Heilman.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, September 12th, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 2:00 PM with Pastor Harry Colegrove and Pastor Mike Dailey officiating.
