Obituary of JoAnn M. Fattarusso

JoAnn M. Joan (Connors) Fattarusso, age 75, of Troy, PA died on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Joan was born on August 7, 1931 in Long Island, NY, a daughter of Joseph and Claudia M. (Vreeland) Connors. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Fattarusso for 54 years. Thomas died on June 6, 2005. Joan was a 1949 graduate of the Troy Area High School. She was a member of the Olde Covert Church and the Red Hatters, Troy, PA. Joan loved her family and enjoyed crocheting and word search puzzles. Joan is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Denise Maletta of Northport, NY, Suzanne and James Maher of Holbrook, NY, Michele Fattarusso, North Babylon, NY; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas M. and Debra Fattarusso of Huntington, NY; three grandchildren, Ryan, Robert, Thomas; a sister, Katherine Kupchin of Troy, PA; two nephews, Robert Kupchin of Troy, PA and Bill Kupchin of Fairbanks, Alaska. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, April 30, 2007 from 2 to 4 PM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation at 4 PM at the funeral home with her pastor, the Rev. Kenneth Marple officiating.
