Obituary of Kevin Alan Vroman
Kevin Alan Vroman, age 50, of Blossburg, PA, died Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. Kevin was born June 9, 1965 in Blossburg, PA, a son of Daniel Vroman and Shirley (Krise) Rabold. He was employed by J. P. Ward Manufacturing in Blossburg, PA. Kevin was a member of the Arnot Sportsmans Club, Canton American Legion, Morris Run American Legion and enjoyed golfing, enjoyed BBQing chicken with the Sleezy chicken crew, shooting pool, fishing and going for rides.
Kevin is survived by 2 sons, Derek Thorpe of Covington, PA; Trevor Vroman of Arnot, PA; a brother, Daniel Vroman, Jr. of Gillett, PA; 3 sisters and a brother-in-law, Lisa (Thomas Dunn) Mead of Monroeton, PA, Sheila and Matt Wiemeyer of Roaring Branch, PA, Bobbie Klick of Canton, PA; his girlfriend, Gayle Kreger of Arnot, PA.; many nieces, nephews and numerous special friends. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Debbie Mead.
Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel with his brother-in-law, Matt Wiemeyer, officiating. Family will provide the flowers. In lieu of flowers, contributions for an educational fund for Trevor Vroman may be sent to Derek Thorpe, 957 East Hill Road, Covington, PA 16917.
