Obituary of Earl Brooks

Earl Brooks, age 89, of Blossburg, PA, died Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. He was born July 3, 1926 in Bloss Twp., Tioga Co., PA, a son of Lee Roy and Lydia (Williams) Brooks. He was employed by Corning Glass in Wellsboro, PA as an inspector before his retirement. Earl was a WWII Army veteran. Earl enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball, berry picking and voicing his political opinions to anyone willing to listen. Earl is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Earl and Judy Brooks of Tioga, PA, James and Carol Brooks of Ogdensburg, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Dale Nauman of Mansfield, PA; a sister, Jane Skaehill of KY; a sister-in-law, Laura Patterson of Blossburg, PA; 9 grandchildren, Heather (Shawn) Wallace, Andrea (Randal) Glick, Sommer (James) Gee, Thomas Brooks, Christopher Brooks, Ryan (Jamie) Brooks, Travis (Erin) Nauman, Matthew (Emily) Nauman, Daniel (Brittany Lovejoy) Nauman; 19 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Wesley, Francis and Lee Roy Brooks. A private celebration of Earl's life will be held at a later date. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S.
