Obituary of Dayl Ripley
Dayl L. Ripley, age 64, of Mansfield, PA, died Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Troy Community Hospital, Troy, PA. She was born April 24, 1951 in Binghamton, NY, a daughter of Leonard Rockwell and Janet (Newberry) Roblyer. She was the Club Administrator at Corey Creek Golf Club for over 25 years and a former member of the women's bowling league at Terrace Lanes, Troy, PA. Dayl enjoyed spending time with her beagles, gardening, and the outdoors.
She is survived by her mother, Janet, of Mansfield, PA; a daughter, Darcy (Thomas) Sarosi of McElhattan, PA; her companion of 23 years, Alfred Dean Colegrove of Mansfield, PA, and his children, Bill (Tammy) Colegrove of Lawrenceville, PA, and Karen Colegrove of Harrisburg, PA; 2 step-brothers, Ronald (Marcia) Roblyer of Troy, PA, Sheldon (Karen) Roblyer of East Lindley, PA; 2 step-sisters, LeVon (Jim) Ketter of Mosherville, PA, Denise (Jim) Morrell of Coral Springs, FL; a sister-in-law, Beverly Rockwell of Wellsburg, NY., She was predeceased by her father, Leonard Rockwell, a step-father, Scott Roblyer, a brother, Rodney Rockwell, a step-sister, Nancy Swatsworth, and a step-brother, Timothy Roblyer.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Dayl's memory to the Animal Care Sanctuary, 11765 Route 6, Wellsboro, PA 16901.
