Obituary of Joseph Frank Staron
Joseph Frank Staron, age 81, of Arnot, PA, died Sunday, May 31, 2015 at his home. He was born November 30, 1933 in Carbondale, PA, a son of Frank B. and Helen M. (Wilczynski) Staron. Joseph was the husband of Leona "Lee" Staron. He was retired from Ward Manufacturing and enjoyed fishing, eating, collecting military patches, guns and coins. Joseph was a U. S. Army veteran during the Korean War.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Leona of Arnot, PA; a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne J. and Joan Staron of Liberty, PA; a daughter and son-in-law, Kim M. and Stan Graig of CA; a step son, Bill Bogaczyk of Huntsville, AL; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer, Sheldon and Skyler; 3 great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Dori Staron of Mansfield, PA; a sister and brother-in-law, Victoria and Kenneth Simpson of Mansfield, PA. He was predeceased by a brother, Paul K. Staron in 2008, and a son, John E. Staron in 2007.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Mary's Cemetery, Blossburg, PA. Condolences may be sent to Leona Staron, 114 Chestnut St., Blossburg, PA 16912.
