Obituary of James L. Harvey

James L. Harvey, age 89, of Mansfield, PA, died Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. He was the son of Lazell and Myrtle (Pierce) Harvey. From 1949-1961 he owned and operated Lazell Beauty Shop. After he closed his beauty shop he worked for Borden's in Wellsboro for 26 years. James enjoyed fishing, leatherwork, and being a part of his shooting club, where he won first place in the state pistol range contest. He is survived by his wife, Helen; a daughter, Deborah (John) Heidler of Spring Hill, Fl; a grandson, Robert Heidler; 3 great grandchildren, Jack, Jessica, and Justin. James is predeceased by a son, James W. Harvey; a granddaughter, Amy Blow (2012) and a sister, Molly Harvey.
