Obituary of Christine Wilcox
Christine Wilcox, age 58, of Covington, PA, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born February 23, 1957 in Blossburg, PA, a daughter of William and Martha (Boinski) Aston. Christine is survived by her husband, Samie Wilcox. Christine enjoyed working on the farm with her husband and crocheting. She was a member of the Blossburg United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, Samie, Christine is survived by 2 daughters, Samantha (Jerry Ogden) Wilcox of Wellsboro, PA, Christie (Paul) Blackwell of Wellsboro, PA; 2 grandchildren, Karah and Carly Blackwell; 2 sisters, Nancy (Jon) Bullock of Williamsport, PA, Debbie (Jack) Faulkner of Mainesburg, PA; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a paternal figure, Raymond "Boothie" Booth.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral chapel with Rev. Michelle Somerville officiating. A private burial will be in Frost Settlement Cemetery, Covington, PA.
