Obituary of Robert E. Alexander

Robert E. Alexander, Sr. age 76, of Millerton, PA, died on Monday, March 2, 2015 in Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Born on December 16, 1938 in Elmira, NY, he was the son of Lawrence and Nora (Galpin) Alexander. Prior to his retirement, Robert was employed as a truck driver with Morgan's Trucking in Millerton, PA. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting cars. Robert is survived by one son, Bob Alexander, Jr. of Millerton, PA; three daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Frank Husted of Roseland, Nebraska, Laurie and Dave Walter of Latrobe, PA, Lorraine Selleck of Scottsboro, AL; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Kenneth and Donna Alexander of Elmira, NY, Richard Alexander of Elmira Heights, NY, Carl Alexander of Gillett, PA; his friend, former wife and the mother of his children, Carol Alexander; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Robert was predeceased by a son-in-law, Ron Selleck. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial luncheon at Noon on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Roseville United Methodist Church, Rte. 549, Roseville, PA.
