Obituary of David Thomas Roberts

David Thomas Roberts, age 45, of Lawrenceville, PA, died on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at his residence. Born on May 7, 1963 in Wilkes Barre, PA, he was the son of Thomas and Joyce (McKeel) Roberts of Lawrenceville, PA. David was employed with Ward Manufacturing Company in Lawrence Twp. for 17 years. He served as a Sgt. with the U.S. Army from August 1981 through August 1990. David enjoyed hunting and was a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club, a member of the NRA and the American Legion in Tioga, PA. In addition to his father, Thomas Roberts, David is survived by two step-sons and step-daughters-in-law, David and Michelle Mosher of Newburg, PA, Christopher and Jamie Mosher of Lawrenceville, PA; a brother, Duane Roberts of Tioga, PA; two uncles, Ferris C. (Janet) Roberts of Watsontown, PA and George (Stella) McKeel of Benton, PA and two faithful canine companions, Brandy and Cassie. David was predeceased by his mother, Joyce Roberts in 2007, his wife, Yvonne M. Roberts in 2003, and good friends, Lonnie Whipple and James Austin. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, November 8, 2008 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours at 12:00 PM with Rev. Robert Strozyk officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Osceola, PA.
