Obituary of Dorothy Ellison

Dorothy (Statts) Ellison, age 61, of Lancaster, PA, died on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in the Lancaster General Hospital. Born on May 23, 1953 in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada, she was the daughter of Charles and Viola (Beaderman) Statts. Prior to her retirement, Dorothy was employed as a Home Health Aide with Health Care Provider. She enjoyed crocheting, helping the less fortunate and the McDonald?s Ministries. Dorothy is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Kim Ellison of Wellsboro, PA; two daughters, Melissa Kocher of Covington, PA, Katrina Miller of Michigan; one sister, B.J. Butler of Wellsboro, PA and two grandchildren, Bryanna and Candace. Dorothy was predeceased by an infant daughter, Michelle Ellison in 1976. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
