Obituary of LeRoy E. Wilson
LeRoy E. Wilson, age 66, of Covington, PA, died Saturday, January 10, 2015 unexpectedly at his home. He was born May 26, 1948 in Ansonia, PA, a son of John and Anna (Mason) Wilson. LeRoy was retired from John Deere on Rte. 660 with over 50 years of service. LeRoy attended the Crossroads Family Worship Center (formerly Calvary Tabernacle) for over 25 years. He was a senior commander for Royal Rangers for 28 years.
LeRoy is survived by his wife of 40 years, Phyllis; a son, John (Barbara) Wilson; a brother, Jack (Linda) Wilson; sisters, Betty (Burt) Weber, Alice Bartholomew, Pat Ellis, Mary Wilson; sisters-in-law, Vivian Wilson and Penny Wilson; grandchildren, Mike and Angel Greenfield, Jason and Melissa Greenfield, Destiny Wilson, Nathan Wilson, Abby Wilson; great grandchildren, Dawayne Greenfield, Naleyah Greenfield; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased his parents, brother, Elwood Wilson, Jerry Wilson, sisters, Joyce Williamee and Thelma Cleveland; brothers-in-law, Krit Bartholomew, Frank Ellis, Carl Bartholomew and Chuck Cleveland.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Crossroads Family Worship Center, 16 Pearl St., 2nd floor, Wellsboro, PA with Pastor Carl Linscott officiating.
