Obituary of Ronald D. Aldrich
Ronald D. "Chooch" Aldrich, Jr., age 48, of Troy, PA, died on Monday, November 17, 2014 in Troy Community Hospital, Troy, PA. Born on February 20, 1966 in Wellsboro, PA, he was the son of Ronald D. Aldrich, Sr. and Betty (Madison) Fish. Ronald is survived by his wife, Margie E. (Gipe) Aldrich.
Ronald was a self-employed farmer. He was a member of the Canton Fire Department, served as Assistant Chief with the Lower Mahoney Fire Department and enjoyed spending quality time with his family and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Margie, Ronald is survived by his mother, Betty Fish of Williamsport, PA; a son, Ryan Aldrich of Bath, NY; a daughter, Mallisa (Jason Bailey) Aldrich of Bath, NY; a step son, Dean Malone of Harrisburg, PA; a step daughter, Chris (Matthew) Butler of Newville, PA; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Lloyd and Karen Wolford of Sylvania, PA, Terry Aldrich of Hartwell, GA, Noel and Jodi Aldrich of Williamsport, PA; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Lucinda and Robert Babcock of Cameron, NY, Robin Aldrich of Williamsport, PA, Glenda Marzo of Woodhull, NY and four grandchildren: Skylar Aldrich of Hornell, NY; Dakota Aldrich, Jay Bailey, and Zadon Bailey all of Bath, NY. Ronald was predeceased by his father, Ronald D. Aldrich, Sr.
There will be a private memorial service. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main Street, Mansfield, PA is assisting the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Ronald's memory to Buckheit Funeral Chapel to assist with expenses. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
